Serves: 4-6
  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Cook onions until translucent, about 5 minutes.
  2. Add the garlic and chili flakes. Cook 1 minute.
  3. Add the ground turkey and cook until no longer pink.
  4. Add the basil and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Add in the lasagna noodles. Cover with tomatoes and the brown sugar. Stir around then flatten into an even layer with all noodles covered by sauce.
  6. Bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer until noodles are tender, about 20 minutes.
  7. Stir in the mozzarella then top with spoonfuls of ricotta. Cover and allow the cheese to melt for 5 minutes. Garnish with more basil to serve.
