  1. Grease a large casserole dish with butter & preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Sauté sausage, onion and celery in a pan with remaining butter until lightly brown.
  3. Mix all remaining ingredients in a large bowl except drippings.
  4. Place mixture into casserole dish and bake for 1.5 hours. If a moist stuffing is preferred cover loosely with foil for the first hour.
