Combine salt, garlic powder, cayenne, white pepper, black pepper, paprika, oregano and brown sugar in a bowl to make rub.
Coat steaks well with the rub on all sides.
Brush steaks with oil and grill steaks over direct medium-high heat for about 5 minutes on each side. The steaks are cooked when a meat thermometer reads 170°F (77°C). Remove from grill, cover loosely with foil and let stand for 10-15 minutes before serving.
